How I became an InuYasha fan
One day in my life, I was on Neopets, roleplaying. You do know the site Neopets, right?
Anyway, the roleplaying board was overflowing with "InuYasha" roleplays. "What the heck's an InuYasha", I thought. I clicked on one of the topics to find out.
"InuYasha stood in InuYasha's forest waiting for the others. They were late"
the first post said.
InuYasha stood in InuYasha's forest waiting for the others... So there's more than one InuYasha, was my conclusion. I read the next post
"A girl was running through the forest. A demon was chasing her. 'someone, help me!', she yelled, looking back at the demon with a scared face."
That sounded like some fantasy story. So then perhaps, an InuYasha is som kind of mage? That must be it! A mage from some council of mages were waiting in a forest for the others.
Right.

A few days later, I went to the libary. I searched through the book shelfs after "InuYasha". I found it after some time searching. It was a comic book. "InuYasha volume 1", it said. So it was a manga, my conclusion was after seeing the design. I had never read any manga before at the time. I read it and I was amazed. I never really thought manga could be this cool. I forced my brother to read it too, who also liked it. And I was addicted. I borrowed the some of other books from the libary several days later, and I was already a total fan. I started watching the anime when I heard about the site YouTube. Now, I've read 30 books(all the books that have been translated to english) and watched about 140 episodes(I like the manga better)

That's how I became an InuYasha fan.

So what's so good about InuYasha anyway?
I have to admit, sometimes even I get tired of the InuYasha story and wonder if it's ever going to end. Escpecially when I'm watching the anime. Seriously, 99% of the anime is just filler crap. Well, maybe not 99%, but it's still WAY too much. However, there are some things that make me fall in love with inuYasha over and over again. In the manga it's the ARTWORK. InuYasha is Rumiko's artwork at it's best and I just love drroling over those deliciously drawn clothes and backgrounds. I mean, look at all the detail! Just take a look at Sesshomaru or Kagura's clothes and imagine drawing that panel after panel, day after day, week after week. I don't think the anime managed to keep her drawing style intact, they changed it too much. Second, it's the CHARACTERS. Rumiko has always been good at creating depths in the characters' personalities, and InuYasha is perhaps the series where she has succeeded the most. (Nah, when I think of it, that's probably Maison Ikkoku, But anyway.) I think all InuYasha fans know what I'm talking about. Third and lastly, it's the MUSIC. Although it's only in the anime, the music is very, very important. The InuYasha OSTs are Kaoru Wada's best, if you ask me. the openings/endings are wonderful as well. The character themes are perfect, and when I heard Hiun no miko, Kikyo, which by the way was the first InuYasha soundtrack i heard, for the first time, I just thought "Wow, this is so totally Kikyo".

But I still wish she would end it. :<

Stop making those made-up couples already!
If there's anything that irritates me about fans, it's all those made-up couples. Kagome and Sesshomaru, InuYasha and Sango, Kagura and Miroku. What's next, Kikyo and Shippo?! Seriously, why? They were NOT made for each other. It's NOT obvious that they love each other. And there's NO WAY IN HELL they're gonna end up together. So there.

This isn't much of a writing, it's more like an angry YouTube comment, lol. But I still hate made-up couples
